1/2 Pear
1 Egg White
2 oz Bourbon
3/4 oz Ginger Honey Syrup*
3/4 oz Lemon Juice
1 dash Angostura Bitters
Nutmeg.

Casseroles, Boxcutters, Jigger, Muddler, Shaker Classic/Boston, Citrus Juicer, Strainer, Grater, Tablespoons, Coupe Glass, Cup.

Add Pear to a Cocktail Shaker and muddle.
Add remaining Ingredients except the Nutmeg to the cocktail shaker.
Shake without Ice (be careful as the shaker will want to come apart due to the egg whites).
Open the shaker, fill with ice and shake again.
Double strain into a chilled Coupe Glass.
Grate nutmeg on top and enjoy!

*Ginger Honey Syrup*:
Combine 1/2 cup Honey, 1/4 cup Water, 1/4 Vanilla Bean sliced open, 1 Orange Peel and 1 tablespoon grated Ginger in a small Saucepan. Heat on medium low heat, stirring to dissolve the honey. Let simmer 15 minutes, remove from heat, let cool and strain into a glass bottle. Store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
